The fishermen were free to build and decorate huts on the water's edge. The fishermen's district of "La Pointe Courte" in Sete is the last authentic fishing port on the Etang de Thau, which is trying to preserve its history and resist the gentrification that has affected the whole region since the Covid crisis and the boom in teleworking for executives and freelancers.
