JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (June 14, 2017) – Darnell-Cookman School of the Medical Arts student Kayla Richemond dons surgical gloves and gown in an operating suite as part of Naval Hospital Jacksonville’s Science, Service, Medicine and Mentoring (S2M2) program. Eleven high school students are participating in the hospital’s S2M2 summer internship, preparing for careers as health care professionals.
