Pods single, broad, dark green, slightly curved, pointed; contain 7-8 large, oblong, deep green peas; sieve sizes 3 to 7. Seed large, flattish, yellow and green. â LAXTON'S PROGRESS 16 4^ The largest podded and most attractive of the Laxtonian family. Vine medium dark green. The Asgrow strain of this important variety is noted for its solid deep green color.
