Of theirsix children, Frank E. is now^ the only one residing in this city, but he hastwo brothers in Tacoma, this state. After attending the schools of Minne-apolis and the State University of Minnesota, Frank E. Adams served anap])renticeship as a machinist and draughtsman in the North Star IronWorks at Minneapolis, and after completing his term of service there he wasemployed as draughtsman and mechanical designer by different firms inmany of the largest cities of the United States, thus gaining an experiencewhich has proved of inestimable value to him in later life. He came to Seattle.
