MAGIC SYMBOLS - MAGIC SQUARES - MARS The Tabula Martis, or Magic Square of Mars, based on a 5 x 5 square, the single linear addition of which is 65, in any direction. The square is surrounded by various names and sigils of angels and demons related to Mars. From Athanasius Kircher, Oedipus Aegyptiacus, 1652-4. The structure, and some of the angel lore, is derived from the Magic Squares published by Cornelius Agrippa.
