Pkt. 5?. oz. 2u?, % lb. 50?, lb. $ The Peach Tomato—The fruit resembles the peach in shape, and the resemblance is heightened not only by its peculiar delicate bloom but also by its distinct suffused coloring and faint stripes from stem to blossom end. 1 he tomatoes are two inches in diameter; in color are a deep rose and golden amber; all covered with deli- cate bloom like the blossom or furze of a fine peach. For eating out of the hand as fruit it is without a rival, the very solid, rich, meaty fles>h being unequaled in delicacy of flavor, and melting in the mouth like a grape. Very productive, the fruits beinsr borne in clusters of from four to eitrbt; it is most excellent for preserves.
