The demolition event -- attended by a handful of garrison staff, housing officials and others – also heralded the successes of the installation’s Residential Communities Initiative, the public-private partnership serving to improve military housing. RCI began here in 2007, and the Jefferson Terrace demolition is among the first projects funded through its reinvestment account.
