Gary Sigler speaks at the funeral of COL Mark Lane Stephensen, whose RF-4C Phantom II aircraft crashed into a hillside while evading SAM missiles over North Vietnam in 1967. Sigler, who ejected from the back seat of the Phantom, was captured and held prisoner for seven years. In 1988 the remains of Stephensen and 26 other Americans killed in Southeast Asia were repatriated by the government of Vietnam.
