Alex Thomson arriving back in his home town of Gosport on board HugoBoss after finishing second in the Vendee Globe around the world solo,non-stop, race in 74 the race he broke the world 24 hour distance record sailing 536nautical miles in 24 hours and beat his own British 80 day record to become the fastest Briton sailing around the world solo, non-stop in a monohull.
