The Marine Corps Base, Headquarters and Support Battalion,football team, the Spartans, won the “Best of the West” championship game aboard Twentynine Palms, Calif., Dec. 2, 2017. The Spartans finished the game 66-7 over the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms team to conclude the last game of their undefeated season.
