A number of the prints of Figs was between 1773 and 1777 manufactured by Tilliard and published as a series. It was re-released under his name by Fénélons family in 1717. The story concerns the journey of Telemachus, son of Odysseus. He is assisted by the counselor Mentor, which is revealed at the end of the story as the goddess Athena.
