His wife livedto the age of eighty, and died on the 7th ot May, had a family of eleven children. Jehiel, Jr., theeldest, was born on the 8th of December, 1765. The otherchildren were Lorhama, Lovinah, Lucretia, Sallie, Russel,Jabez, Amos, James, Israel, and Amasa. James and Amasadied in childhood, but the others lived to a very old age.
