The modern method of piledriving is shown m the bottomillustration. This driver is operated by an engine, and requires the seiof but one or two men. The scene of the work is the northwest corner ofBattery and Ilalleck streets, San Francisco, where a new building for theEastman Kodak Company is under construction.
