Hewas in the Headquarters Company, 55th Infantry, 7th Division,U. S. A. He was in Camp Oglethorpe, Ga., and Camp MacArthur,Texas. At Oglethorpe he received his commission as secondliteutenant. Lieutenant McLean spent eleven months overseasand was in the Second Army advance November 10 and 11. Hereturned to America the following June, and was dischargedJune 26, 1919. 194
