Israeli mounted police officer pushes away protestors from the blocked Ayalon highway during the demonstration. Thousands of Israelis protested against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his far right-wing government demanding for an immediate hostages release and general elections in the state of Israel. During the demonstration protestors broke through Israeli Police barriers and clashes started between the police and the protesters.
