110605-N-DS193-003 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 5, 2011) A Sailor aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) uses a metal scribe to clean debris from a spray nozzle during a test of the ships counter measure washdown system. The countermeasure wash down system is used to remove chemical, radiological, and biological contaminants from the surface of the ship in the event of an attack.
