Citizens of South Carolina gather to witness the inauguration of Governor Henry McMaster, the Governor of South Carolina during a ceremony Jan. 11, 2023, at the South Carolina State House in Columbia, South Carolina. Citizens witness the presentation of colors by the Citadel Color Guard, the singing of the Star Spangled Banner by Francis Scott Key and John Stafford Smith and the administration of oath by Justice John W. Kittredge. Governor Henry McMaster will serve four more years as the Governor of South Carolina.
