St Patrick's Church and spire on Lough Beg viewed from the woods on the east side in Antrim
St Patrick built a church on Lough Beg and Bishop Harvey decided he would like to be able to see it from his house in Bellaghy so he built a gothic spire next to the church in the 19th century. This view is from the thick woods on the east side of the lake looking west, from County Antrim. Seamus Heaney wrote movingly about Lough Beg, and grew up nearby.
