If thereis a city in the worldcalculated to offer thetourists opportunitiesfor pleasure in the day-time it is Chicago. Itis natural, perhaps, in considering these oppor-tunities, to refer to the parks and boulevards ofChicago, which, as good judges of such mattershave said, constitute a whole host of attractionsin themselves. The park system of Chicago is somethingupon which the city prides itself perhaps morehighly than on anything else. There is no city inthe world that contains such a complete system. 145 of breathing-places for the people as is to befound in this one.
