Aeeows, Blow-gun.—These wonderful little Arrows are about nine or ten inches in length, and not thicker than a lady's steel knitting-needle. Indeed, these Arrows (without. CLOW-aUK AEI'.OWS STRDNO. the poison) would answer very well for knitting. The leaf- rib of the coucourite palm is, when dry, very hard and elastic, although like steel, it combines brittleness with hardness and elasticity. It is also a heavy wood, for Arrows made of light.
