Monochrome abstract programmed machine drawing.
A machine drawing with added tone post scanning in Photoshop. The machine here was an X:Y plotter rig device where the pen was controlled by an analogue programmer. This is one of folio of computer programmed drawings added to the machine drawings as submitted for my PhD in Fine Art at Manchester University. All Taitographs, as they are termed, are subject to programme control by a variety of specially designed sequential analogue programmers. To the best of my knowledge I have designed and built more analogue drawing machines than anyone else having reached twenty five different machines and with work still in progress. The wide variety of images are not only widely exhibited but could provide graphic designers with a range of motifs.
