Hong Kong, 1985 ; Jade has been loved, treasured and collected in China for millennia. In the centre of Kowloon, there is a famous jade market, frequented by tourists and locals, alike, which sells jade jewelry and stones of all sizes and qualities. Now under cover, when I lived in Hong Kong it was a more atmospheric place, and substantially outdoors.
