The old medieval bridge over the river Exe in Exeter, Devon
These are the excavated remains of the 13th century bridge over the River Exe in Exeter. With its 5 arches is one of the earliest examples of an arched stone bridge in England and was built with wealth from the wool industry. The tower on the bridge is what remains of St Edmund's or the Chantry on the Bridge.
