Communist Party red flags and Union flags on Regent St at the start of the march organised by the People's Assembly and Stand Up To Racism against austerity and racism and calling for the Tories to be defeated at a General Election. Very few of the protesters were communists. The march met outside the BBC in the hope that they might for once cover a British protest properly and many marching showed support for Jeremy Corbyn as the next prime minister.
