Jenny Lake in the Grand Teton National Park was formed approximately 12,000 years ago by glacial movement. The lake is estimated to be well over 400 ft. deep and is over 1100 acres in size. It is one of the major attractions in the park and has many activities both around it and nearby. Interestingly in today's world, there was a study done in 2005 which indicated Jenny Lake's waters have not been harmed by air or water pollution.
