1974 bronze sculpture "Lütt Matten, de Has" (Lütt Matten, the hare) by sculptor Walther Preik, Strandstrasse, Waren (Müritz), Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany The sculpture is based on a German fable. In the fable, the hare was dancing alone in a meadow. The fox saw this & offered to be a dance partner. Lütt Matten the hare holds out his paw and is killed and eaten. The crow played along and got its share of the spoils.
