Bud- ding Knife, is like the grafting knife, but should have a double-edged sharp point, like an oyster-knife, and the handle of ivory, is wedge-shaped, for raising the bark from the wood. There is a variety of superior excellence, call- ed Curtis's Budding Knife. 5. Aspara- gus Knife, has either a strong straight blade, with a sharp chisel-shaped point, or a slightly curved blade, with a saw- edge on the inner side of the curve. KNIGHTIA excelsa.
