Eharo mask Hevehe Elema gladness


Papuan Gulf Masks, Papua New Guinea Mask costumes and figures made of cane framework covered with basket wickerwork or bark cloth (tapa) were central to many Papua Gulf ceremonies. Papuan Gulf longhouses shared the elongated cone or bisected cone construction of the figures and masks.
