It is true that species of true Bosare found wild in the warmer parts of Asia ; but no trueAurochs has been discovered Avithin the tropics. Thatthe great Aurochs was associated with a species of Bosof equal size in England during the newer pliocene period,is equally demonstrated by the fossils Avhich form the sub-ject of the present sections.
