Beacon; at POUGHKEEP-SIE visit Vassar College; at CATSKILL run up into the hauntsof Rip Van Winkle; at HUDSON, where the river scenerygrows less attractive, take trolley if we prefer, thro the Patrooncountry to ALBANY. At all these points the Day Boat touches. From ALBANY one may easily and pleasantly reachPITTSFIELD and the Berkshires by auto bus. Eventuallythese two towns will be linked up by trolley.
