Soldiers assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, provide security while conducting a routine patrol along the banks of the Euphrates River, Iraq, Sept. 29, 2018. The 3rd Cavalry Regiment is deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, working by, with and through the Iraqi Security Forces and coalition partners from 74 nations to defeat ISIS in areas of Iraq and Syria, and to set conditions for follow-on operations to increase regional stability.
