FRANCHI SEEDS was founded in 1783 and has stayed in the same family since! Unlike most seed companies they also produce their own seeds, with 90% of the regular vegetables produced by themselves. Franchi are based in the ALPINE REGION of Lombardia, along with their test grounds. Many of these varieties are hardier than domestic UK varieties. In the UK their seeds are distributed by SEEDS OF ITALY which you often hear them called.
