In Early English Churches the clearstory but rarely formed a part ofthe design, except in the Cathedrals and other large Structures. Salisbury, Ely,Lincoln, and St Albans, have Early English clearstories : and in Warmington Church,Northants, we find this feature consisting of a series of two-light windows.!
