Lioness teaching her cubs table manners KENYA CAPTIVATING images show a lioness with six cubs teaching her kids breakfast manners during a family zebra meal. The ten-month-old cubs can be seen tucking into the zebra carcass in the early morning while their mother bares her teeth at them to control their unruly behaviour. The cubs and their mother, along with their aunt, took a well-deserved nap after having had their fill of the zebra. Wildlife photographer Patsy Weingart captured these beautiful images. She had gone for a safari drive with her daughter in Mara Plains - a tented camp in a private concession of the Masai Mara, Kenya. With a Nikon 80-400 zoom lens on the Nikon D 850 camera, she managed to take these incredible images from a distance of 20 feet. ?It was a satisfying feeling to get so many different angles and shots of this family of lions,? she said. ?It was our first safari drive and sighting after arriving at Mara Plains. The guide got word that the pride and cubs were feeding on a zebra carcass, and we drove straight to the sighting. ?The interaction between their mom, aunts and the cubs was fun to watch. ?The mom was all business while eating and, like every parent, did not like the kids' poor behaviour at the dinner table.
