The king´s staircase in the Jardim Episcopbal shows portuguese kings. In the history of Portugal are 60 years of national wound, when the spanish crown took power of the small neighbour nation. The kings Phillip I., and Phillip II. are only half size of the portuguese monarchs, a little revenge of the history.
