1826. Hale is one of the oldest pharmacies in the UK located on Argyle Street, Bath and near Pulteney bridge; with attractive and imposing columned frontage and a crest of lion and unicorn (coat of arms of Queen Charlotte wife of George the Third). It is one of the earliest commercial premises built in Bath and has been frequented by many famous people.
