Nomadic shepherd herding a flock of sheep (Ovis aries) between the Golestan and Khorasan provinces in Iran. Although the nomadic population of Iran significantly decreased in the 20th century, Iran still has one of the largest nomadic populations in the world, an estimated million in a country of about 70 million.
