KUNIGAMI, OKINAWA, Japan—Asahide Hentona receives a Certificate of Appreciation Dec. 4 in Kunigami, Okinawa, Japan. Hentona was recognized by III Marine Expeditionary Force for his support after a CH-53 helicopter mishap Oct. 11 in the Takae District of Higashi Village. The Kunigami Fire Department’s quick and courageous actions minimized damage to property and prevented injury to local residents. Hentona is a fireman with the Kunigami Fire Department.
