The final three fishing boats, Christina S, Resolute and Atlantic Challenge which took part in the ‘Fishing for Leave’ fishing boat flotilla, leave London under Tower Bridge on the River Thames to return to Scotland this morning. Members of the Fishing for Leave group, supported by Nigel Farage are campaigning to leave the European Union ahead of the referendum on the 23rd of June. The Christina S FR224, a 72 metre long pelagic trawler and one of the largest vessels to take part, was involved in the UK’s largest ever fishing fraud involving illegal catches of fish in 2012.
