Fonthill house Doylestown Pennsylvania. Eastern section
Central section of Fonthill House. The original Farmhouse now covered in concrete with large concrete arches on outside and original front door on left. Portion of the eastern section of the house stepped back slightly behind. Fonthill is a unique poured concrete house designed and built by Henry Mercer during the Art and Crafts movement. The house boasts 44 rooms 18 fireplaces 32 stairwells and more than 200 windows and was completed 1912. It is now a National Historic Landmark.
