NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (June 24, 2016) -- Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Keenan Fitts, assigned to Pre-Commissioning Unit Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), is administered the oath of enlistment by Lt. Cmdr. Shane Lawson during his reenlistment ceremony at Victory Arch. Fitts was recently accepted into the Navy’s Medical Enlisted Commissioning Program (MECP) and will depart Ford in July to attend the University of South Florida.
