B of the Bang, Manchester 02

B of the Bang public art installation at the City of Manchester football stadium, Manchester. Its name comes from a quote from Linford Christie and it is the tallest self-supporting sculpture in the United Kingdom. It is also becoming notorious as a potential waste of money as there is a dispute between Manchester City Council and the structure's builders as to who is responsible for repairing the spines that have fallen off! Shot on a modified Nikon D80 using a custom white balance.
