A German knightly sword,circa 1150 Double-edged blade with fullers on both sides reaching down almost to the point. There are engraving remnants of former inlays on each side of the base of the blade. Iron cross guard with a tapered tang and a mushroom-shaped pommel. Conserved and in minimally restored condition.
