Alejandro Torres, a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico and chef volunteering with the non-profit organization, World Central Kitchen, prepares food for residents of Puerto Rico at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Oct. 3, 2017. WCK prepared to feed approximately 46,000 residents of Puerto Rico. Chef Jose Andres, the founder of WCK, is supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency in helping those affected by Hurricane Maria to minimize suffering as part of the overall whole-of-government response efforts.
