Equestrian Statue of King Karl XIV Johan, also known as Carl XIV Johan, and Storkyrkan bell tower, near the Royal Palace, in Gamla Stan, Stockholm.

The Karl XIV Johans Ryttarstaty (Equestrian Statue of King Karl XIV Johan) was created by Bengt Fogelberg in 1854 to honor the former French military leader who became King of Sweden and Norway. The statue is located near the Kungliga Slottet (Royal Palace) in Gamla Stan, Stockholm. The bell tower of Storkyrkan (Stockholm Cathedral), a significant site for royal coronations, can be seen in the background, adding a rich historical context to the scene.
