The station contains the usual equipment of lightningarresters on high and low tension sides, and high tensionswitches controlling the incoming lines with low tension switch gear controlling some 18 feeders on the low tensionside. In line with modern jjractice all drives are by indi-vidual motors, and this results in a remarkably good loadfactor being obtained. The load factor each month runs over80 per cent., a condition which is hardly possible unless indi-vidual drives are employed. The motors are all controlled compensators and all those of 35 and over are.
