They have one child, and the family homeis at 3728 Jackson street. Tn the first instance hewas a particularly active newsboy, later, while still a very young lad,securing a position as assistant in electrical construction work inthe old California Gas & Electric Company, predecessor of the presentPacific Gas & Electric Company.
