In the lamproomprovision is made for testing arc headlights, a special circuit being brought into the room to terminals to which lampsmay readily be attached. Sheet-iron troughs are installedin the lamproom to prevent the escape of oil drained fromwick lanterns. The blacksmith shop is equipped with apower blower forge.
