In the lamproomprovision is made for testing arc headlights, a special circuit being brought into the room to terminals to which lampsmay readily be attached. Sheet-iron troughs are installedin the lamproom to prevent the escape of oil drained fromwick lanterns. The blacksmith shop is equipped with apower blower forge. The roof of the auxiliary building isof concrete, reinforced with old rails. Cast-iron columns
