The Supervisor of Salvage and Diving division on April 28 sent 66,000 feet of inflatable oil boom, skimming systems, related support equipment and personnel to support clean-up efforts for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. More than 1,000 personnel are involved in the response effort both on and off shore with additional resources being mobilized as needed.
