The medieval village of Èze in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France. Èze stands on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean coast a short distance to the east of the city of Nice on the Côte d'azur. Possessing fine views of the Mediterranean Sea and containing a variety of small shops, art galleries, hotels and restaurants the village has become a popular tourist attraction.
